HABITER LES FISSURES
[TO LIVE IN THE CRACKS]
In Brussels, a former factory bears witness to an intense and now bygone industrial era. Today, it is home to spontaneous flora that has found its way into the cracks in the bricks and concrete, as well as to the people who live there and create alternatives to what this city has to offer. Paced by the constant back and forth between the political and the poetic, between the macroscopic and the microscopic, ‘To live in the cracks’ unfolds through the interweaving of 16mm images, narratives and sound composition inspired by the building and the plants. A film like a place, a place for dialogue, a place for togetherness.
